The Dream Of Becoming A Hero

Chapter 1: Just a Dream?

'You a hero? Don't make me laugh. In this world, whenever there is someone superior, there will always be someone who is inferior. You are either a winner or a loser - and as it seems just one of us is going to win this fight. Are you really willing to give yourself up, for the happiness of others? Don't be absurd. Wake up! No matter what you do, humans will always have the selfish habit to make themselves look taller than they are, or rather making others feel small and inferior. They built and strive for a better future, but they also are taking away that 'future' by destroying millions of lives by doing useless wars. Do you truly believe you can change that just by making some valueless sacrifices?' you heard a man's voice say.

Unaware of where you are or whom that man's voice could belong to, you take a look around.
"Sand?'" you think to yourself. No matter where you look, there's nothing but sand. You quickly realize that you are in the desert. As you analyze the place you see another version of yourself on the ground.
"W-What? How is this possible? I am here, but why do I see another version of me, there, being miles away, looking as if they're trying to grasp for air?"

Out of nowhere, you hear a sudden ringing tone.
'Wake up! For crying out loud - why do you have an alarm clock, when you never hear it.' your sister, Amy, complains.
'Get ready and grab some lunch. I'll be waiting in my car to drive you to school, but don't take too long or I'll be driving without you. I don't want to be late.'
"It's the last two weeks of school before the summer break. Who cares if we'll be too late?' you groan.

You want to go to that dream again, but you also want to spend as much time as you can with your friends before the summer break.
